To encourage research in Human Values and its implication on well-being, the Trust has instituted Dr. C. Shamasundar Award. The award with cash prize, certificate and memento, is for any study whose conclusions is about the relationship between human values and well-being (either individual or collective). The study should be from the state of Karnataka. Any student or faculty member of any teaching institution/Educational Institution can participate and submit before 30th Nov, every year.

The Award is for ANY study whose conclusions is about the relationship between human values and well-being (either individual or collective).

How to Apply? Who Can Apply? What are the Criteria for Award?

(A) The study should be from the State of Karnataka.

(B) He /She should be student or faculty member of ANY teaching institution/Educational Institution.

(C) Scientific/Research criteria:

(i) There must always be a message that is logically arrived at on the basis of data.
(ii) Data may be detailed descriptive narratives, survey-based with appropriate statistical method or accepted research methodology
(iii) Narrative of Personal experiences /Qualitative studies included

(D) Single best paper for that year shall be decided by a three member panel, whose decision shall be final.

(E) The Award has cash prize of Rs 5000, Certificate and Memento.

(F) The Soft copy and 3 Hard copy of the research paper, along with covering letter & institutional letter should reach the office of the Trust before 30th November of that particular year.
